Expense Tab

Use the Expense tab of the Preferences screen to establish preferences related to the Expense module.

Note: If you are not licensed for Deltek Expense, this tab does not display.

General Section

Select the screen that you want to display when you open the Expense module. Select one of the following options:

  • Splash — Select this option to display the Time & Expense with ESS splash screen. The splash screen also displays by default when no other option is selected.
  • Expense Report — Select this option to display a blank expense report when you open the Expense module.
  • Expense Authorization — Select this option to display a blank expense authorization when you open the Expense module.

Expense Reports

Field Description
Number of MyExpense Reports Select the number of expense reports that you want to appear on your Desktop in the MyExpenseReports area. The available options are 1 through 25.
Hide Voided Expense Reports on Desktop

Select this check box to hide voided expense reports in the MyExpenseReports section on your desktop. Leave this check box unselected to display voided expense reports on your desktop.

Note: If you choose to hide your  voided expense reports, you can still view them by performing a search.

Expense Authorizations

Field Description
Number of Expense Authorizations

Select the number of expense authorizations that you want to display on your Desktop in the MyExpenseAuthorizations area. The available options are 1through 25.

Hide Voided Expense Authorizations on Desktop

Select this check box to hide from view your voided expense authorizations in the MyExpenseAuthorizations section on your desktop.  

Leave this check box unselected to display voided expense authorizations on your desktop.

Note: If you choose to hide your  voided expense authorizations, you can still view them by performing a search.
